The 1st competition for funding scientific research by doctoral candidates at the University of Warsaw

The subject of the recently-launched competition under IDUB Action IV.4.1 is to provide funding for new undertakings that will improve the quality of the research being carried out by doctoral candidates the University of Warsaw as part of their dissertations.
Participation in the first competition, “for research”, is open to all doctoral candidates at the University of Warsaw; the funds obtained will allow them to carry out new research tasks which will improve the quality of research they are doing in connection with their doctoral dissertations. The co-financing will also facilitate the timely defense of these dissertations.
It is also expected that the effects of the implemented projects will increase the percentage of scientific articles published in upper-decile journals, and works printed by prestigious publishing houses, including those written in international collaboration.
The call for proposals is open from 1 February to 1 March, 2022.
