Category: Results

Do you want to learn how to create, interpret and explain the law in understandable language? The University of Warsaw invites you to interdisciplinary MA studies in English „“International Legal Communication”.

Registration is open from August 17 to September 12, 2022: https://irk.uw.edu.pl/en-gb/offer/PELNE2022/programme/S2-ILC/?from=field:P_ILC

Classes are conducted by academic teachers from the Faculty of Applied Linguistics and the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw, as well as by teachers from the universities of the 4EU + Alliance and other foreign universities.

Classes are held on Thursdays and Fridays, partly online and partly on-site in the iconic building of the University of Warsaw „Dobra 55”.

The first year of studies prepares students to undertake original research at the intersection of law and linguistics. In the second year, students choose one of 3 specializations:

  • „Design Thinking in Law” – research on the creation and shaping of law in the linguistic context, its conceptualization, terminology, textemics and logic;
  • „Transference of Legal Knowledge” – research on the social perception of legal information, in particular the simplification of this information and its anthropological and ethnographic aspects;
  • „Epistemology of Lawyering” – research on communication effectiveness in the field of advocacy.

Our program is original – we are the first in Europe!
