“A Research University: 5 Questions to…”, is a series of interviews (in Polish) with researchers at the University of Warsaw who have carried out their projects as part of the IDUB Program, published on the University of Warsaw’s Research Portal.
Researchers talk about their research, their most significant discoveries and the impact of the IDUB programme on the development of their projects. These interviews demonstrate how, thanks to the support of the IDUB Programme, projects of international significance are being developed – ranging from research into fungi and quantum physics, through computer science theory, to the search for planets and space exploration. It is also an opportunity to gain an insight into the inner workings of scientific research and the challenges faced by researchers from various fields of knowledge.
The series highlights the diversity of disciplines represented at the University of Warsaw, as well as the importance of long-term support for research with global potential. The “Excellence Initiative – Research University” programme, which aims to enhance the quality of academic activity, develop ambitious research projects and increase the university’s international profile.
