I am a graduate of the Institute of Sociology at the University of Warsaw, where I also obtained my doctorate. In 2019-2020, I acted as the UW coordinator for the implementation of the changes resulting from the new “Law on Higher Education and Science”. In 2018-2020, as a representative of the University of Warsaw, I participated in the European Commission project “Regional Innovation Impact Assessment Framework for Universities (RI2A)”, coordinated by DG Joint Research Centre. In 2000-2018, I worked at the Office of University Advancement , where I participated in the implementation of projects funded by the European Funds, including the European Social Fund. In 2009-2018, on behalf of CRASP, I participated in the work of the Monitoring Committee of the Human Capital Operational Programme and then of the Knowledge, Education, Development OP, I took part in the work of the Mazovian Innovation Council and the Regional Thematic Network for the Mazovian Voivodeship.

Daniel Adamiak
I am a graduate of the University of Warsaw and the Warsaw School of Economics. Since 2008 I have been working at the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics, where I co-founded and since 2013 have been directing the work of the Research Services Department, through which hundreds of research projects have been carried out, including several (most in Poland) from the European Research Council (ERC). I work in the Priority Research Area III.

I support the professionalisation of academic staff through seminars, workshops and Masterclasses. I manage the database of the New Ideas competition in POB IV and V, look for solutions to formal problems in the implementation of grant projects, and promote events in the humanities and social sciences. I work in Priority Research Areas IV and V.

I have many years of experience in helping scientists apply for research funding. I gained this experience at the National Contact Point for EU Research Programmes and the Office for Scientific Excellence of the Polish Academy of Sciences. I have been working at UW since 2022. I deal with organisational support and coordination of tasks performed by activity managers of Priority Research Area II (POB II) in the IDUB programme. I also provide support to applicants for Horizon Europe grants, especially ERC, in the preparation of the proposal from a content, formal and financial point of view. I establish partnership relations and good communication between scientists and representatives of the UW administration.

I am a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics and I also studied at the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Warsaw. I have been working at POB I as a Research Manager since October 2020. I support the effective, efficient and procedurally compliant use of IDUB funds at the Ochota Campus. My previous work experience includes training and marketing research, which I try to use in my work at the University of Warsaw.

I work in Priority Research Area V, where I support the development of research in the social sciences at the University of Warsaw. I am responsible for the preparation and coordination of funding programmes (e.g. grants, fellowships, competitions) and I assist applicants for international funding (ERC, Horizon Europe) in applying for and implementing funded projects. I am closely associated with the Centre for Excellence in Social Sciences.

I am a research manager in the Excellence Initiative - Research University programme. In my work for POB V and Action II.3.6 I am mainly involved in DELab project proposals, project management, partnership and consortium building and team development. My experience in international projects is mainly from Horizon Europe.

I have been working at the UW since 2021. I am involved in building collaborative networks in the humanities, supporting researchers in applying for prestigious international grants (ERC, International Research Agendas, Teaming for Excellence), identifying candidates for grant applications, helping to prepare the substantive part of applications, providing mentoring, helping to organise project work and communication between researchers and administrative support teams. I am a philosopher by training, working in political and social philosophy, with experience in civic education, sustainable development, gender equality as well as cultural management. I worked in NGOs, as well as in state institutions. I work in the Priority Research Area IV.
