In which journals can a co-financed article be published?

The two titles mentioned in the documentation (EurekAlert! or ScienceNews) are only examples. If the applicant, due to the subject of his/her article(s), decides that by choosing another journal the information about the results of the research conducted at the UW will reach a wider audience, it is, of course, possible to indicate this other journal. The important thing is that it should not be a strictly scientific journal aimed only at the scientific community.

Further examples of journals to which articles can be submitted are Scientific American, Wiedza i Życie, Mówią Wieki, or Delta published at the University of Warsaw.

Can a lecture, workshop, podcast be funded under this competition?

No. Under this call, you can only apply for funding to prepare and publish article(s) in a popular science journal.
