Student Contest for an Essay or Short Film

We invite you to take part in a contest for an essay or a short film devoted to the European Union’s external policies. The aim of the work (in the case of an essay, a maximum of 4,000 words) should be to analyse the EU’s neighbourhood and enlargement policy in the context of Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine and its far-reaching consequences.

Attractive prizes are foreseen. Submissions (in Polish or English) will be evaluated by a distinguished jury of renowned scholars.

Deadline for submissions: 1 September 2025.

The competition is organised within the project “Europe and Mobilities: Challenges and Opportunities for Socio-Economic Transformations”, implemented by the Centre of Excellence in Social Sciences and the Centre of Migration Research at the University of Warsaw, and funded under the Horizon Europe programme.
