We invite you to watch the third film presenting the winners of the “New Ideas” competition and speakers at the PRZEŁOMY conference, and thus invite you to Mexico. In his project, Dr. Gregory Haimovich studied unique forms of attitudes towards health in the Mexican region of Sierra Norte de Puebla, in indigenous communities. Study of attitudes related to chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension has become important research material, as 50 years ago these diseases were practically non-existent in this area.
We would like to remind you that the extended deadline for submitting abstracts for this year’s conference “BREAKTHROUGHS. Latest research in the humanities and social sciences” is September 5, 2025. We are waiting for abstracts presenting the results of research in POB IV and POB V at: research.managers+przelomy@uw.edu.pl
