The IDUB Programme in 2026

Category: IDUB2026, Organizational

In accordance with the agreement concluded for the implementation of the IDUB Programme, 2026 will be devoted to activities aimed at ensuring the sustainability of the results achieved so far. This formula allows for the launch of new grant competitions.

The most important results of the IDUB Programme at the UW are primarily visible in areas such as increasing impact on world science, developing relations with renowned foreign centres, supporting the development of young scientists (including doctoral candidates), training, as well as career path development. The effects of IDUB are also visible in the university administration, which played a key role in the coordination of horizontal activities.

In 2026, the University of Warsaw community will be able to use the
system of internal grants, including microgrants for employees, support for open access publishing and journals. Microgrants for doctoral candidates, mobility of employees and students, as well as training (specialised and soft skills) will also be financed.

Announcements of competitions and detailed rules for using these funds will be published on the IDUB website at the end of October or beginning of November.
