We are excited to invite you to the Warsaw Glia Symposium 2025, an international scientific meeting dedicated to the rapidly evolving field of glial cell research.
The symposium will take place in Warsaw October 16th-17th, 2025 and is envisioned as a recurring event that brings together scientists at all career stages who are interested in astrocytes, oligodendrocytes, microglia, and the critical roles these cells play in the brain.
The aim of the event is to foster collaboration, share cutting-edge discoveries, and strengthen the glial research community in Warsaw, Poland, and beyond. Hosted under the patronage of the University of Warsaw, the symposium aims to connect researchers from Warsaw-based institutions (including the University of Warsaw, Medical University of Warsaw, and Polish Academy of Sciences) with leading scientists from other national and international centres.
Over two days, participants will enjoy a rich scientific program featuring a keynote lecture by a world-renowned expert, thematic sessions focused on specific glial cell types, and a dynamic poster session. The event is open to researchers at all stages – from undergraduates to senior scientists – and participation is free of charge.
To enrich the experience, the symposium will also offer a guided tour of Warsaw’s cultural highlights and a conference dinner designed to promote informal networking and foster meaningful scientific exchange.
