Centre of Excellence in the Social Sciences invites to workshops and seminar hosted by prof. Luca Varadi from the Central European University.

The Interdisciplinary Seminar in Empirical Social Science will take place on February 21 from 13.00 to 14.00. The title of Prof.’s Luca Varadi’s presentation is “Could it be possible? Testing the Effectiveness of Interventions against Discrimination in a Divided Society: Evidence from Hungary”.

The workshop entitled “Conducting qualitative interviews and group discussions about difficult topics and combining these with quantitative approaches” will be held on 22 February from 10:00 to 16:00 at the Centre of Excellence in Social Sciences, BUW Building, Warsaw, Dobra 56/66 (2nd floor, room 2.90). There is an elevator in the building, paid parking in the basement, and a bicycle rack in front of the building. The workshops will be conducted in English.

A break for lunch is planned at 1:00 p.m. Coffee and tea are available throughout the workshop.
