Category: Events, I.3.6, V.3.3

All those interested in the topic of open science at our university are invited to participate in the conference “ReInforce! Strengthening the policy of openness in science at the University of Warsaw”. The conference will be held on October 24-25, 2024 at the University of Warsaw Library.

The occasion for the conference is the launch of two new institutional repositories at UW in 2024 – for research data and for scientific publications. During the conference we will talk about the processes of supporting open science at Polish and European universities.

Warsaw University’s participation in the 4EU+ Alliance provides a unique opportunity to compare with and learn from European universities more advanced in issues of openness of science. Presentations by representatives of partner universities from: Germany, France, Italy, Czech Republic and Denmark will illustrate European best practices and innovative solutions. Speakers from Poland will present topics detailing specific activities undertaken locally at our university, as well as broader issues related to the promotion of science, and of concern to researchers associated with national universities.

Participation in the conference is free of charge, but the seats are limited – the order of registration is decisive.
We cordially invite you to register.
