Category: Results, V.3.3

Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak, Rector of the University of Warsaw, signed a ordinance establishing an Open Science Policy at the university.

The Open Science Policy defines, among other things, the basic guidelines and principles concerning open access to the results of research conducted at the University of Warsaw, including publications and research data. Its adoption fulfils one of the key objectives of Action V.3.3. It is also in line with the recommendations of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education from 2015, formulated in the document “Directions for the development of open access to publications and research results in Poland”.

By implementing the Open Science Policy, the University of Warsaw joins the group of universities promoting openness in science.
