26 09 2025
The University of Warsaw Library and the Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computer Modelling at the University of Warsaw invite you to register for a series of online training courses on the University of Warsaw’s open science policy. Furthermore, check out newly created repositories.
On 31 July 2025, the University of Warsaw implemented an Open Science Policy, which sets out the rules for sharing publications and research data and the obligations of members of the UW community in this regard. The regulation came into force on the date of its signing, except for paragraphs 2 and 3 concerning the obligation to deposit publications and research data, which will come into force on 1 February 2026.
In 2023–2024, two institutional repositories were launched as part of the IDUB UW programme:
- for publications https://repozytorium.uw.edu.pl/ – University of Warsaw Institutional Repository (ReIn UW) and
- for research data https://danebadawcze.uw.edu.pl/ – University of Warsaw Research Data.
The training courses are targeted at researchers, doctoral students, librarians, and other administrative staff.
In consultation with the course instructors, it is possible to reserve a different training date for a faculty or unit of the University of Warsaw.
Contact regarding all training courses: repozytorium.buw@uw.edu.pl (BUW) or dbuw@icm.edu.pl (ICM UW).
