Call rules
1. Can funding be used to apply for reimbursement of costs already incurred?
Yes, it is possible to apply for reimbursement of language editing costs for scientific articles published in 2024, provided that they meet the requirements specified in the Action Guidelines.
2. Can I submit multiple applications at the same time?
No, it is possible to receive funding under a single application, which can include all scientific publications published in a individual issue of a journal.
After a successful settlement, you can apply for additional funding.
3. Can I apply for funding for 2 issues at the same time?
No, this is not possible. One application should pertain to only one issue of the journal.
4. Can I apply for funding for individual articles accepted for publication during a year in a journal published in the Article-Based Publishing model or Ahead of Print/In-Press?
Yes, under this publishing model, the editorial office can apply for funding for articles accepted for publication during the year without having to wait for the entire issue to be published.
In the case of this type of a journal, funding for additional articles can be applied for after a successful settlement.
5. Can I obtain funds for translations under the funding?
No, the funding is only for editing and proofreading.
6. Can funding be received only by journals published in Polish and English?
No, journals published in any language can receive funding, provided that the scientific articles covered by the application meet the requirements outlined in the Action Guidelines.
8. Where should the logo mentioned in the settlement be placed?
The logo and information about the received funding should appear only on the journal’s website. This information should not be included in individual articles.
