Call for applications

• Name of the call: Journal Enhancement Program
• Objective: supporting the editorial teams of the University of Warsaw’s academic journals in improving the quality of publications, internationalising periodicals, and developing technical and digital infrastructure to support the publishing process
• Grant purpose: carrying out a research task involving short-term mobility
  • proofreading and language editing, translations, digitisation of archive issues,
  • preparing applications for indexing databases (Scopus, WoS, DOAJ),
  • implementation of anti-plagiarism tools,
  • promotional activities,
  • technical development – website modernisation, editorial system maintenance, archiving, DOI assignment, WCAG 2.1 compliance.
• Applicant: the editorial office of a journal owned by the University of Warsaw, fulfilling specific formal criteria
• Maximum amount of support: up to PLN 50,000 per year
• Start of the call for proposals: 15 December 2025
• Project implementation period: until 30 September 2026
• Form of submitting applications: electronic submission only to ja.lewczuk@uw.edu.pl

Due to the settlement of the IDUB Program for 2025, funds will be released after February 1, 2026.
The call for proposals continues as usual and is conducted in accordance with the current schedule; please take into account the date of release of funds when submitting your application.
