An opportunity to co-finance the presentation of research at the International Symposium on Bilingualism

As part of Action II.3.7 – “Increasing the effectiveness and internationalisation of research projects within the area of multilingualism” from the “Excellence Initiative – Research University” (IDUB) programme, we would like to encourage UW employees and doctoral candidates to take part in the ISB13 conference – the International Symposium on Bilingualism, which is taking place at the University of Warsaw in July of 2021. We are offering co-financing for the conference fees to UW employees and doctoral candidates who are presenting papers or posters.

The International Symposium on Bilingualism is a prestigious international event which takes place every two years (the previous ones were held in Singapore, the USA, Ireland, and Canada). It attracts researchers from the fields of bilingualism and multilingualism, language acquisition, and foreign language pedagogy, while connecting the perspectives of psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics, sociolinguistics, and education.

We would like to invite UW employees and doctoral candidates to submit papers by 30 November, 2020 15 January, 2021.

Following the announcement of the results by the international scientific committee in February 2021, we will open a request form for financing, as part of Action II.3.7.
