The Summer School “Machine Learning in Quantum Physics and Chemistry”
14 04 2021
PhD students and young researchers interested in combining machine learning methods with quantum physics and chemistry will meet at the Department of Physics on 24.08-03.09.2021.
The summer school, organised under Action IV.4.2 “International Summer Schools for PhD students and young research employees”, will address topics such as:
- supervised and unsupervised machine learning applied to simulated and experimental data
- Gaussian processes in quantum dynamics
- reinforcement learning in quantum physics
- machine-learning representation of quantum states
- quantum machine learning
- interpretable machine learning
- statistical mechanics in learning theory
- tensor networks
The school’s programme includes both lectures and hands-on sessions as well as poster and contributing speakers sessions.
