Second call for the 1st edition of the mentoring visits competition

The aim of the competition is to select on-site mentoring visits for co-financing, during which cooperation will be established or strengthened with scientists/mentors, who have been chosen by a team from the University of Warsaw.
Mentoring visits should contribute to the achievement of the following objectives:
- internationalising the research conducted at the University of Warsaw;
- increasing the chances of researchers from the University of Warsaw to join the work of teams implementing ground-breaking research projects, including those with the participation of outstanding researchers from universities in other countries;
- increasing the research potential of the University of Warsaw by building an international research team;
- establishing new contacts and strengthening existing relations with universities, schools, and scientific institutions of international renown; allowing for their continuation;
- increasing the publication capacity of the results of research carried out at the University of Warsaw;
- increasing the number of applications from UW for prestigious international research grants.
In the current application for the amount of up to PLN 16,000.00 teams consisting of at least two research or research and teaching staff of the University of Warsaw who hold at least a doctoral degree and are counted among the N number may apply. Members of the team may also be employees of the University, doctoral students of the University and students of the University.
Applications can be submitted until 20.04.2022.
