TEDx University of Warsaw 2024

This is the third year that TEDx University of Warsaw will be organized. This year’s edition will feature 12 speakers, 10 of whom are Doctoral School students.

What powers science? Participants at this year’s TEDx University of Warsaw are most often powered to do science by curiosity. They keep their eyes – and sometimes their hands, test tube or flask – on the changing world, try to understand it, and then talk about it. Soon you will be able to listen to them! From the speeches you will learn how to scientifically predict the future and how Netflix is changing television. We’ll hear about the impact of microplastics on the world and the role of peptides in the fight against antibiotic resistance – and that’s not all!

The event entitled “MIND THE CHANGE. What drives science?”, organized by the Center for Cooperation and Dialogue in cooperation with the Doctoral Schools, will be held on April 25 at 4:30 pm at the University Library (BUW, Performance Hall, level -1) in Warsaw.
