We invite you to submit presentation proposals for the scientific conference “Breakthroughs. The latest research in the humanities and social sciences”, which will be held on October 17-18, 2024 at the University Library in Warsaw.
The conference will be a space to present the latest achievements of projects under the New Ideas grants and other competitions for research projects in Priority Research Areas IV and V. The most interesting proposals will be selected from among the submissions. During the event, the results of research conducted in POB Activities IV and V will also be presented.
The main purpose of the meeting will be to establish scientific contacts and cooperation between the winners and awardees of the New Ideas grants and other competitions for research projects in the humanities and social sciences.
The conference program will include two days full of inspiring events. In addition to conference speeches and discussions, we are planning meetings with ERC grant winners at the UW on the process of forming ideas for research projects, training for grant recipients and meetings with science managers. A networking space will be available throughout the conference for participants to exchange research and project experiences.
We invite you to prepare dynamic speeches on your research carried out at IDUB, which will be understandable not only to specialists in a narrow area of research, but will also attract the attention of a wider audience. The recommended speaking time is 12 minutes.
