How to effectively apply for grants from the USA? – workshop for researchers, managers and administrators of scientific research from Poland and Ukraine

We invite you to participate in thematic workshops on financing opportunities for scientific cooperation with the United States, conducted by NCURA (National Council of University Research Administrators).

Participation in the workshops provides an opportunity to obtain direct guidance from experts from top American universities on research funding opportunities from the NIH, NSF, and U.S. DoD. Furthermore, on preparing project proposals and establishing contacts with experts and partners from Europe and the US.

The workshops will take place on 5–6 November 2025 in the building of the Faculty of Modern Languages at ul. Dobra 55.

Participation in the workshops requires prior registration and payment of a fee (University of Warsaw employees are eligible for a discount for members of IZTECH – Polish Chamber of Commerce for High Technology):

• Early bird registration: PLN 800 + 23% VAT until 1 October (after that: PLN 1,000 + 23% VAT) – 10% discount for IZTECH members (participation is free for Ukrainian researchers and research project administrators).
