I.2.1. Improvement of publishing capacities

The main objectives of this activity are:

• increasing the number of publications in the top periodicals in the world on the results of research by scientists from the University of Warsaw;
• expanding the international reach of the periodicals published by UW, thereby increasing their impact on the scientific world.

As part of this activity, there are plans to hold training sessions for the researchers employed at UW concerning the principles of publishing in prestigious foreign periodicals, and for adapting the journals published by UW to meet international standards. Other activities aim to initiate cooperation with foreign publishers, create international series of publications, and introduce a shared platform (repository) for the presentation of periodicals from UW.
