III.1.1. Transfer of research results into study curricula

In 2026, activities are being carried out under this Action to ensure the sustainability of the results achieved so far under the IDUB Programme

For research-intensive universities, a research-based approach to education is crucial. This serves to prepare students both for their future academic careers and for employment in other sectors of the economy or in public policy. In both cases, it is essential to provide students with the knowledge that will enable them to respond appropriately to the challenges they will face. They should also acquire the ability to respond critically and verify the information they receive. This is particularly important in the context of the increasing prevalence of so-called “fake news” . IDUB is an excellent tool for planning activities that will enable the creation of a system for the ongoing review of degree programmes and doctoral programmes, based on the latest scientific knowledge, including that generated at the University of Warsaw.

The aim of Action III.1.1 is to improve the quality of education for students and PhD students by implementing a mechanism for transferring the results of the latest research and research trends into educational programmes. The action focuses on creating a sustainable systemic framework that integrates the latest research achievements with the University of Warsaw’s teaching provision.
