FAQ

Only students and doctoral students from the University of Warsaw, who have been qualified for part-time studies as part of one of three scholarship programme competitions implemented at the University of Warsaw, may participate in the Programme:

  1. a scholarship offer resulting from University-wide direct cooperation agreements, coordinated by the International Relations Office (bilateral agreements),
  2. the Erasmus + programme “Learning mobility – programme countries or third countries not associated under KA131”: ONLY part-time study trips to 4EU+ universities;
  3. the Swiss European Mobility Programme (SEMP): ONLY trips to 4EU+ universities.

The funding will be the equivalent of up to 6 per diem allowances per month, for full months of stay, and calculated at the rate on the competition announcement date, during the entire stay abroad.

In the case of incomplete months, per diems should be calculated as follows:

  • one additional full week: one additional per diem;
  • two additional full weeks: three additional per diems;
  • three additional full weeks: five additional per diems;
  • four additional full weeks: six additional per diems.

Accommodation (i.e., hotel allowances for accommodation) are not financed by the Programme.

The duration of a trip in order to carry out research tasks may be from 2 to 5 months.

A research plan is needed; it may concern collecting materials for a course credit, bachelor or master thesis, a library query, a project which is part of classes at the University of Warsaw, etc.

The work plan for the trip must be approved by the research supervisor at the University of Warsaw.

Approval from the representative of the host university. When obtaining the approval of the representative of the host university, it should be communicated that the control over the implementation of the research plan is the responsibility of the research supervisor from the University of Warsaw.
