IV.5.3. Nursery school and Kindergarten on Ochota UW Campus and childcare facilities at the Warsaw University campus

The Action addresses the needs of those working and studying at UW who are also parents, by facilitating the reconciliation of their work and family lives. An in-depth diagnostic study is currently being carried out on the needs of different groups of working and studying parents, as well as an analysis of the existing regulations, practices, and activities at UW for providing support to parents and others with caretaking duties. Recommendations will be prepared in response to the issues and needs identified in the survey in order to increase the visibility of caretaking duties and implement practical solutions in the area of work-life balance, including the establishment of childcare institutions.

The action is aligned with the objectives listed in strategic documents of UW, namely the Gender Equality Plan for UW, and the HR Excellence in Research Strategy.
