Extended registration for the workshops with Springer Nature for editorial staff at UW

We would like to invite members of the editorial boards of the scientific journals affiliated with UW to attend an online course called “Journal Editors Training Workshop”, which is being organised in cooperation with Springer Nature publishers as part of Action I.2.1 “Improvement of publishing capacities”, in the “Excellence Initiative – Research University” (IDUB) Programme.
The online training course will be carried out in English. The registration period has been extended to 7 November 2021.
To receive a certificate of completion, it is necessary to participate in all three modules, which will be held on the following dates:
- module I – 16.11.2021, 9.00-11.00,
- module II – 16.11.2021, 12.00-14.00,
- module III – 17.11.2021, 9.00-11.00.
Springer Nature is one of the world’s largest publishers of scientific journals (over 3,000 titles, containing over 7 million scientific papers). Among the journals published by SN, more than 1,100 may be found in the top quartile according to the Scopus database; the company publishes many of the most influential journals in the world.
