Specialised lectures on statistics – call for projects as part of Action II.3.8

The Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics invites you to submit applications for the implementation of projects as part of Action II.3.8.

The submitted project should:

be of a scientific and didactic nature and be consistent with the scope of Action II.3.8, and meet the objectives of the Action;
facilitate the implementation of the Warsaw University master’s degree students in scientific research;
contribute to the achievement of the objectives of Action II.3.8.

Projects should include the organisation of specialised lectures on statistics by experts in the field.

The duration of the project may be up to 3 months, and the planned completion date should not be beyond 30 December 2023.

All costs must be incurred during the project implementation period. Funding for popularising activities is not planned.

The maximum amount that can be applied for is 50,000 PLN per project

Employees of UW who are planning to undertake activities which are thematically related to Action II.3.8 and POB III may apply for funding.

We recommend consulting with the Coordinator of the Action before submitting an application in order to obtain detailed guidelines for the preparation of the application: pob3@mimuw.edu.pl.

Applications will be processed in three rounds. The application deadline for the implementation of projects in the first round is 11 July 2022. The next rounds are expected in November 2022 and May 2023.
