Why are cities where they are? Is artificial intelligence useful for investment strategies? How to put a statistical value on human health and life? How to make Transformation Fair using microeconometric tools?

These and other questions were answered by secondary school students who attended the “Meeting with Economics”, a lecture devoted to the latest research in economics, held at the Faculty of Economic Sciences. The meeting was held as part of the IDUB Programme project under Action III.3.2 “Promotion of scientific research in the public domain”. The event was held under the patronage of the Centre for Cooperation and Dialogue of the University of Warsaw.
