V.3.2. Improvement of the system of remuneration of administrative Staff

In 2026, activities are being carried out under this Action to ensure the sustainability of the results achieved so far under the IDUB Programme

Demographic changes are having a negative impact on the labour market. Furthermore, the University of Warsaw (UW) is placing increasingly high demands on its staff in terms of skills; these stem from the university’s growing internationalisation and its increasing involvement in research projects that are demanding in legal, human resources and financial terms. As a result, the UW is competing for talented staff to a greater extent than ever before.

The aim of this Action is to enhance the University of Warsaw’s attractiveness as an employer through a remuneration system for non-academic staff that meets candidates’ expectations.

As part of this Action, an in-depth analysis of the University of Warsaw’s remuneration system will be carried out, covering both academic staff and non-academic staff. The aim is to organise knowledge regarding the structure of remuneration, to develop analytical tools to support HR and financial decision-making, and to lay the foundations for the systematic monitoring of the University of Warsaw’s pay policy.
