Advisor for development of research career path in BMPB from 1.09.2022

Category: IV.1.3

As of 1.09.2022, Ms Magdalena Chomicka started working at Office for International Research and Liaison (Biuro Międzynarodowych Programów Badawczych) in the role of advisor for development of research career path within the framework of IDUB Action IV.1.3 “From the Diamond Grant to the ERC grant”– creating individual plans for the research career development.

The aim of the activity is to provide a personalised approach to the development of the career path of researchers at the University of Warsaw, as well as counselling for PhD students and students linking their professional future to the field of research.

It is crucial to enable a harmonious career path for researchers from an early stage, including providing professional assistance to best plan their individual paths. The action employs a advisor for development of research career path, who will help researchers identify competences that are missing or need strengthening, advise on research funding instruments, or prepare an Individual Research Career Path Development Plan, taking into account the requirements for MSCA Individual Fellowship candidates and European Research Council (ERC) grants.
