IV.1.3. “From the Diamond Grant to the ERC grant”– creating individual plans for the research career development

The aim of the action is to provide an individualized approach to the development of the career path of researchers at the University of Warsaw, as well as advising doctoral students and students who associate their professional career in the future with the area of scientific research.

It is crucial to enable a harmonious career development of researchers from an early stage, including providing professional assistance in the best possible planning of their individual paths. As part of the action, an advisor for the development of a scientific career path was hired, who will help researchers identify missing or requiring strengthening competences, advise on instruments for financing scientific activities, or prepare an Individual Development Plan for a Scientific Career Path, taking into account the requirements for candidates for individual scholarships under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) and the European Research Council grants (ERC grants).
