New research infrastructure at UW

A total of 18 projects will receive co-financing as part of the competitions for the purchase or creation of research infrastructure (and its implementation), which will raise the research potential of the University of Warsaw in the long term.
Two selection committees assessed more than 70 applications, which were submitted as part of Actions I.4.1 – “Strengthening the core-facility potential on the Ochota Campus”, and I.4.2 – “Fund for the Renovation and Development of Research Infrastructure”, while also considering the suggestions contributed by the UW community. Due to the high scientific value of the projects which were submitted, as well as their enormous significance to the Ochota Campus and the rest of the University of Warsaw, a decision was made to enlarge the budget for this edition of the competitions and select more applications for co-financing than originally planned.
As a result, co-financing was granted to:
- 4 applications for a total sum of nearly 20 million PLN, as part of Action I.4.1, and
- 14 applications for a total sum of over 4.6 million PLN, as part of Action I.4.2.
